How to Stay Well During Hot Weather

According to forecasts, the weather is unusually high with a high-temperature background spread throughout the country. Some simple pocket tips will help you stay healthy during hot days.

1. Drink enough water

In hot weather, the body is susceptible to dehydration, which can cause oxygen deprivation, unconsciousness, heart attack, stroke, hypertension and more. For normal people, you should drink 1.5 to 2 liters of water every day. If manual labor is heavy in hot weather, you need to increase the amount of drinking water or add lemonade, diluted salt water.

You should not drink drinks containing too much alcohol or sugar because they only dehydrate your body. Also, avoid cold drinks as it may cause stomach cramps or sore throats. Don’t wait until your body feels thirsty to drink water.

2. Eat enough nutrients

Hot sun and dehydration will make you tired and sick. Therefore, you need to improve your health and resistance with a nutritious diet, lots of green vegetables and fruits. According to nutrition experts, enough substances for the body are guaranteed to eat 4 food groups including protein, fat, starch, vitamins and minerals. However, in hot weather, it is necessary to adjust the appropriate ingredients.

Diet should limit fat and enhance green vegetables and fruits. Limit stir-fry and grilled dishes to make you feel tired. Hot spicy food causes hot mouth, acne. Because they only make you hotter.

3. Protect skin properly

Proper protection of skin and sun protection is important. Sunscreen products with an SPF of 15 to 30 can absorb ultraviolet rays in a wide spectrum suitable for everyday use. You should apply sunscreen before leaving home for about 30 minutes and repeat after 2-3 hours. Currently, many people opt for sunscreen tablets, which can be taken 30 minutes before exposure to the sun.
