Martial arts are not only for self-defense but also help you improve your physique, health or spirit. When learning martial arts, you will also learn how to control your body smoothly and smoothly. Learning martial arts is not only for your safety but also for many other health benefits.

1. Learn martial arts to increase cardiovascular health

According to Center for Disease Control and Prevention, only 1/5 of the adults actually mobilize enough. This passive lifestyle can have a significant impact on the heart. Cardiovascular health is important because the heart is a vital part of the body.

So, you need to change your sedentary habits to have a stronger cardiovascular system. You can start cardio training by learning martial arts because martial arts exercises can help you increase your heart rate. This will help you build very good cardiovascular endurance.

2. Learn martial arts to help you become firmer

Martial arts can help increase muscle mass so it will give you fat burning and a firmer physique. This is because punching and kicking moves when learning martial arts require that the muscles of the arms, legs, and muscles work a lot. When you have a lot of muscle, your metabolism will be higher and you will continue to burn more fat even when you are resting.

3. Learn martial arts to help you lose weight

Martial arts are a form of exercise that helps you promote metabolism in your body for easier weight loss. You should practice for about 150 minutes or 2 hours and 30 minutes per week. So you can divide these hours into 2 – 3 training sessions / week, about one hour each session to get the most results.

4. Learn martial arts to help stabilize blood pressure

Most martial arts require you to practice seriously to improve your fitness. These exercises work similarly to the High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) form. This form of exercise requires you to practice fast exercises with 100% energy for a short time to improve cardiovascular health, slow your heart rate at rest and lower your blood pressure.
