How to stay Healthy & Happy?

Life of a person has become too busy that one hardly gets any time for himself. That’s why the number of people suffering from diseases has increased in past years. Whenever someone talks about healthy life then they just talk about exercise and diet. No doubt these two things are important but there are many other things that need to be considered to live a healthy and happy life.

Beat the Stress

Beat the Stress – Stress is the main reason behind all the problems these days. People are taking stress because of their work, family problems or any personal issue. Stress is affecting the body both internally and externally. Some people tend to start eating more when they are in stress and some don’t eat. Person going through stress remains sad and depressed. Now the question is how to save yourself from stress? The answer is – Through Brain. Yes, this is true. You don’t need to take any kind of medicines for this. Just change the way of your thinking and stress is gone. Don’t take any situation too seriously, always think positively and don’t work too much that it will start affecting your health.

Take out time for yourself – It is really important to take out time for yourself to keep yourself healthy. Do whatever you feel like. Play your favorite games, spend time with your loved ones, visit places you like the most, read books; in short do those things which makes you feel happy.

Exercise – It is very important to include exercise in your daily routine. If you are not doing exercise everyday then start with 15 minutes for first week, then 20 minutes and then extend it like this to 1 hour. But minimum 20 minutes exercise is a must. But wondering what form of exercise you should do? Well, do what you like to do the most because you should enjoy doing it. Exercise not only means that you should do gym but it is any sort of physical activity like dancing, cycling, swimming, yoga etc. So do whatever you like to do.

Eat Healthy – Stress, workload and then unhealthy diet – a perfect combination for obesity and diseases. Healthy diet is the first step for healthy living. If in case you are not getting time for exercise (for any reason) but you a following a proper and healthy diet then still you can maintain your body. Diet helps in 80% to maintain your healthy body and rest 20% credit goes to exercise. Eat 4-5 meals in a day in less quantity. Make a diet chart and follow it strictly.

Spend time with nature – Spending time with nature is a great way to keep yourself healthy. It makes your mind fresh; you feel stress free and energetic. If you have been working too much, feeling stressed, getting angry over every little things then you really need a break and the best option is to spend holidays on a hill station. Otherwise, barefoot walk in the morning or evening in park or garden is also really good for health.
