Fruit is an indispensable food that you should eat every day. Here are some healthy fruits that can reduce the risk of disease and enhance health.

1. Blueberries

This is one of the fruits with the highest antioxidant concentration. Not only that, this fruit also contains high levels of phytochemicals to support brain function and memory, help focus and alert.

Many experts say that eating lots of blueberries can help reduce muscle damage after strong physical activity and help muscles recover faster.

2. Apples

“An apple a day keeping the doctor away” is a familiar statement when it comes to the health benefits of this fruit. Apples are sweet but they can help lower blood sugar. They also contain a lot of fiber to assist in controlling hunger and cravings. This fiber also works to improve the body’s immunity and digestive system. For people with asthma, this will be a great remedy, the antioxidant in apples helps to reduce asthma attacks.

3. Figs

Figs are a plentiful source of vitamins A, B1, B2, B6, K, potassium, calcium, and iron. This combination of nutrients makes figs a great assistant to keep bones strong, as well as reduce the risk of cancer and cardiovascular disease. Figs also help maintain healthy bowel movements and prevent constipation.

4. Strawberries

With high levels of vitamin C, strawberries are able to protect the body from allergies and other pathogens. For people at risk for gout or joint pain, eating lots of strawberries can be a useful measure. Some other information suggests that strawberries can even help improve our mood.

5. Blackberries

Blackberries are fruits with lots of vitamin C and K, which boosts immunity, bone strength, and brain performance. Besides, raspberries contain a significant amount of fiber, which helps keep the heart and digestive system healthy.

6. Raspberries

Red berries contain many vitamins and minerals. In addition, high levels of antioxidants in raspberries also increase immunity as well as protect the body from infection and reduce the risk of cancer. This fruit also has the ability to enhance eyesight and protect the eyes as well.
